BioGreetings.
Lt. Dahai Iohor Naraht, here. Currently assigned to the Federation starship Enterprise.
Info: Dahai Iohor Naraht is a Horta, which all Trekkers will recognize from the TOS episode "Devil In The Dark". When all those Horta babies started growing up, there was no way to keep them out of space. Naraht joined Starfleet and has been boldly going where no Horta has gone before. Physically, he looks like a lumpy boulder with a prehensile fringe around his base. Being a silicon-based lifeform, he eats rock and minerals with only an occasional foray into organic matter to get a few needed trace elements. He is bright, eager to please, curious as an entire houseful of cats, but still not quite got the hang of some of the subtleties of dealing with humanioid lifeforms. (Due to the lack of canonical information on Horta Biology, the Mun will be indulging her creative side in developing them. Any info on canon so that I won't make any major gaffs will be greatly appreciated.)
